JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Then this position as a cleaner at Malung-Sälen municipality is for you! We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous employee to join our team, starting as agreed.

As a cleaner, you will have a significant responsibility for keeping the municipality's premises clean and fresh. You will perform cleaning of classrooms, group rooms, offices, meeting rooms, corridors, toilets, and other types of municipal premises. You will work independently and be an important part of our operations, where your contribution helps create a pleasant and safe environment for everyone.

In your role, you will have a central function where you are responsible for creating a clean and fresh working environment in our premises. The tasks vary, and you will work with everything from cleaning school facilities to window cleaning and floor care. Your contribution will have a direct impact on how our employees and visitors experience their workdays; a clean and well-maintained workspace is fundamental for comfort and well-being.

Job Duties:

• Daily cleaning of all types of municipal premises.
• Window cleaning, deep cleaning, and floor care.
• Handling cleaning materials and machines.
• Reporting any faults and damages to premises and equipment.

The work as a cleaner is also a social job where you will have a lot of contact both internally and externally in the municipality's operations. You have your own responsibility for planning and executing your work, which gives you great freedom in how you organize your tasks. You will work both in a team and independently.

Currently, we are looking for a cleaner for the southern part of the municipality, for the pool service. Pool service means that you step in and work for colleagues who are sick or on leave. You will also perform extra tasks such as moving, construction, and deep cleaning as well as floor care, etc. The position requires a Class B driver's license! Being able to handle changes in tasks at short notice is also a requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, sees what needs to be done, and takes action. You have an eye for detail, plan your work in a structured way, and enjoy working independently. You have a strong work ethic, are responsible, and take pride in the work you do. For us, it is important that you have a willingness to learn and develop, and that you are flexible and positive towards new challenges, even when tasks vary depending on needs.

Experience in cleaning or service professions is an advantage, but your willingness to learn and develop is the most important. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have computer skills to use our internal systems for ordering and communication. A Class B driver's license is a requirement, as well as the ability to handle changes in tasks at short notice. If you have experience operating a scrubber or have a cleaning certification, that is a plus.
